Dedicated staff and children
Tue 19 Nov 2019Despite the freezing temperatures, over 40 children and three staff were out training at 7.30 this morning. Well done all and thanks to the parents for getting them here. -
Course correction
Wed 23 Oct 2019Despite going the wrong way, the children managed to relocate on the map and plan a route back. A lot more use of maps and compass on the way back. Children were starting to sort out the navigation Ds. Direction, duration, description, distance and destination.
All back at camp safely and a good lunch sets us up for this afternoon. -
First big navigation error of week
Wed 23 Oct 2019Children leading decided not to use map and follow their noses. Good learning curve as it has put on at least 2km to the route.
