Year 6
The Best of Millfield!
Our Year 6 children enjoyed their final ever camp with Millfield Primary School at Beaudesert. It has been so wonderful to see how confident the children are with camping in the wilderness after building resilience with this year after year since Year 2! The children are now confident with assembling tents (record time this year - 7minutes!) and living inside of them for 2 nights. This involves 'house'-keeping, sharing close spaces with their peers and monitoring the weather and adapting their living quarters accordingly! Year 6 are now leaving Millfield able to dynamically risk assess their surrounding environment, and explore the wilderness safely.
