• Millfield lose Semi-Final: The Year 5/6 Girls lost their Division 2 Semi-Final tonight to Pheasey Park Farm. The girls played incredibly well and the school are so proud of all they have achieved this year. Well done girls!
• Millfield end on a high! - The Millfield girls football teams have ended this half term on a great high with a hard fought 1-0 win in the Year 3/4 league and a 4-0 win away in a 5/6 friendly
• Year 3 Girls win last game before the Christmas Break! - Year 3 Girls beat Fulfen 4-0 to end the Autumn term on a high!
• Millfield into the GC CUP semi-finals!!!!!! - Millfield beat Cooper and Jordan 1-0 after extra time
• Millfield Floodlight Cup Champions! - Millfield win the 2019 Floodlight Cup after a 3-0 win over St. James in the final.
• Molly Smith breaks record! - Molly Smith scored 7 goals at the Floodlight Cup breaking the record of 6 goals held by Leila Burford since 2014. 
• Year 3/4 Win at the Floodlight Cup tournament! The Millfield girls came top of the group at the 2019 Floodlight tournament with wins over Lindens and Fulfen and draws with St. James and Croft. As Millfield won the tournament over St. James on goal difference, and there was a dubious goal disallowed for St. James, Millfield have sportingly offered to play St. James in a final for the Floodlight Cup!
• Year 3/4 win twice in won night! - 12 of the Year 3/4 girls were involved in the league wins over Christ Church and Lindens - well done girls!
• Year 5/6 narrowly lose to Croft in the League - After some quite crushing defeats, the Year 5/6 showed great spirit in their first league game and were unlucky to lose 2-1. 
• Year 3/4 win twice! - The Year 3/4 girls won twice in 2 days against St. James and Cooper and Jordan - Well done to all 12 girls involved. 
• Year 3/4 draw with Alumwell - The Year 3/4 girls played against Alumwell in a thrilling 0-0 draw where both teams had good chances at the end to win. Well played girls!
• Girls' 5/6 lose to Fulfen - Despite 4 team players dropping out on the day and replacements coming in at the last minute, Millfield battled hard but couldn't contain the dominant Fulfen team. Despite the loss I am very proud of your spirit! Looking forward to the next friendly and then league matches. Big Thank You to Mia (Y4) for stepping in as a last minute replacement. 
• The Year 3 girls match vs Fulfen on Friday 11th October has been cancelled due to bad weather!
• Year 3/4 Girls beat Croft in the league to go top! - Millfield go top of the league after 3-0 win away with goals from Eliyah B, Imogen S and Bethany H on her Millfield debut. Well done girls! 
• Year 3 Girls win their first ever match! - The Year 3 girls started the season with a convincing 5-0  win against Fulfen in a friendly.
• GC Cup Vs Alumwell - The 1st round Cup game has been arranged for Tuesday 22nd October 2019 at Millfield.  
• First League match! The Millfield Girls' Year 3/4 Team played the first league match of the season and drew 2-2 with last Year's 3/4 Cup Winners Walsall Wood! Well done girls - massive result. 
• Matches underway! - We now have all teams playing their first matches of the season - Good luck everyone. 

Autumn 2019 Training Schedule:

Year 3, 4, 5, 6 Football training will be on Tuesday mornings @ 7.30am. Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will be going outside in all weathers. 

Girls' Football Swimming will be on Friday mornings @ 7.30am.
