Timetable

Here is our standard timetable.  This will be updated if any significant changes happen - any temporary changes will be notified to adults via Class Dojo.

Useful Info

Wednesdays - are our canoeing morning, swimming afternoon and the day when homework (White Book Wednesday, etc) is sent home to be completed.

Thursdays - White Book Wednesday homework must be returned.

Fridays - are our PE day, so children should wear their full, smart PE kit.  Also, those continuing with music tuition will need their instrument every Friday.

Year 5 Reading

At Millfield we believe that reading is the single greatest joy that you can have and so texts feature heavily in everything that we do.

Children are encouraged to read every night and change their books every day. We endeavour to read with children as often as we can, whether this is hearing a child read, shared class reading, books used in literacy, the class story at the end of every day or even a trip down to our library.

At Millfield, we don't teach children how to read, we create readers.
