Canoeing

We are extremely fortunate at Millfield to be located right next to a canal - KS2 are given the wonderful opportunity of canoeing on the canal with our own canoes! Every week a canoeing instructor comes in and teaches our children how to canoe safely. Occasionally we seek the opportunity for EYFS and KS1 to have a go! We provide the children with buoyancy aids, waterproof jackets and helmets.
