30th April. Our caterpillars have filled up theirs tummyβs and have now began the next stage in preparing to become butterflies. They have stopped eating and have made their way to the top of the pot. They are hanging upside down, letβs see what the next few days bring. We are getting super excited about the changing caterpillars! π
Who needs play/climbing equipment at the park when you have a hill to roll down!?.... we had so much fun! π

26th April. Our caterpillars are now a week old. They are getting very active and eating lots just like the caterpillar in our story. They have grown so much!!

20th April. We have been reading the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar in nursery. The children were so interested in learning how a Caterpillar changes into a butterfly, we have purchased our very own live butterfly garden. Mrs Ehlen introduced it to the nursery this morning, we are really excited about watching our own caterpillars π change into butterflies π¦
