What is your favourite book?

I love so many different books that it's really tricky to choose only one.  One of my favourite authors is Phillip Pullman (Northern Lights, The Firework Maker's Daughter, Lyra's Oxford), but I also really like The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and a lot of Mini Grey's picture books (Traction Man, Biscuit Bear or The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon to name a few). I also really enjoy reading non-fiction books and graphic novels.

What is your favourite colour?

That's an easy question to answer - whether it's olive, lime, emerald, mint, pine, sage, clover or pistachio, my favourite is definitely green!

What was your favourite subject at school?

I loved most subjects at school, but if I had to pick just one it would have to be Science.  I've always loved finding out how things work and why the world is the way it is; Science is the subject of curiosity, experimentation and evidence, so it's just right for me.

If you were a character from any book, who would you be?

I'd like to be Lyra Belacqua from the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy - she's powerful, brave, clever, curious and kind.

Which School House are you a member of?

I'm a very proud Yellow Canary (Yellows, Yellows, we're your fellows - Yellows, Yellows, hear us bellow!).

Tell me an interesting fact about yourself.

I've been to see more 300 bands play and I'm very good at music quizzes.
