Rita the travelling giraffe...🦒
Meet Rita the travelling giraffe, each week she is going to go home with one of the children to read stories. Rita takes each child a sachet of hot chocolate, and a pack of biscuits, keep following to see her adventures 🦒😊
Chapter 1........Thursday 5th February...... Rita goes home with Willow....... They had a lovely time, Willow said the hot chocolate was delicious! Willow enjoyed reading to Rita especially cuddled up at bedtime! She took her to the library on Saturday to look at some new books too! 📖
Chapter 2...... February 12th Rita goes home for half term with Elsie Rita has had a lovely half term with Elsie. We've read lots of stories together, 'brown bear, brown bear' was our favourite. She has been to a 1st birthday party, to the park and the library. She's done lots of crafts, and spent some quality time with Elsies cousins. We have enjoyed lots of hot chocolate and treats together, snuggled under her blanket. Rita even came with Elsie to the doctors to watch her be brave and have her injections. We finished off the half term holidays with a lovely trip to the farm, Rita went on a tractor, and joined Elsie and her brother at soft play. Rita enjoyed helping Elsie to make a sandcastle too.
Chapter 4...... February 26th....... Hunters had an amazing few days with Rita from having cosy nights in reading books to soft play centre to having movies together they haven’t left each others side 😊
Chapter 5.... March 5th......Rita went home with Betsie-Rue, she had a wonderful time, she tried on Betsie’s shower cap and towel. She went on a bike ride with Betsie, then enjoyed snuggling up with Betsie while she had a drink of hot chocolate and enjoyed cookies. Rita lay in bed with Betsie and listened to one of nursery’s favourite stories - Brown Bear brown bear what do you see.
Chapter 6..... March 12th ..... Rita went home with Nancy. Nancy showed Rita her new books, she thought Rita would like to read ‘The Tiger who came to tea’. Nancy enjoyed her milk in the giraffe mug and Nancy’s mommy tucked them both into bed. When they got up Rita went with the family to the Lego discovery Centre. She met a huge giraffe there and went in the 3d cinema. She also went to ballet with Nancy, and then to Toys R Us where she met Geoffrey a huge giraffe. What a busy weekend, she finished her stay having a hot chocolate in Nero.
Chapter 7.... Rita went home with Lillie.....Rita had a very busy weekend with Lillie, but had so much fun! She went to watch a very brave Lillie at her swimming lessons in the big pool it was Lillie’s first time in there. They went to Elsie’s’ for a playtime she loved that. Lillie found a perfect dress for Rita to wear...... Lillie had her first train ride to Sutton... and Rita went with her, they loved it especially going through the dark tunnel... then they went into the book shop to choose a story to buy. Lillie had a lovely weekend with Rita and loved taking care of her.
Chapter 8....... April 16th ...Rita goes home with Archiee. Rita and Archiee started their weekend with a picnic lunch together and then spent the afternoon playing with Archie’s hot wheels cars, tracks and garages. On Friday Rita went to watch Archiee at his swimming lesson and she couldn’t resist joining Archiee for a swim..... On Saturday Archiee and Rita were very busy helping Archie’s dad with some DIY. Rita also met Archiee’s Grandad who read with Rita and Archiee. On Sunday their final day together they went to Nancy and Tao’s party at the Snowdome. They had a lovely time, then went home had a bath and snuggled down for hot chocolate and a film together before bedtime and one last story - Brown bear brown bear. Archiee and Rita have had a lovely weekend 🥰
Chapter 9........ 23rd April..... Rita goes home with Hunter.....Rita had a lovely weekend with Hunter, she helped to plant strawberry plants, played in the garden with Hunter and his sister and brother. Rita had lots of cuddles 🥰 She was even lucky enough to watch Hunter ride his bike without the stabilisers, she was so proud of him 👏 Just before she came back to school she had an extra special cuddle from Hudson.. who is Hunters brother 😍
Chapter 10... 30th April.....Rita goes home with Alicia.....Rita had a lovely time with Alicia and her little brother, they watched the film ‘Frozen’ together. Then Rita had a sleep in Alicia’s mommies bed. When she got up they went to the park and Rita went on the swings and slide with Alicia. Then they went to Alicia’s nannies to do some planting...Rita had been so busy it made her hungry, so off they went to McDonalds which Alicia loved. They shared a delicious hot chocolate, and the were lucky enough to have chocolate biscuits too, Alicia licked the chocolate of hers. Then off they went to get some food shopping, with Alicia and Rita sitting in the supermarket trolley. Before they knew it, it was bedtime and they got into bed and enjoyed reading stories, Alicia fell asleep reading Brown bear brown bear, giving Rita lots of cuddles.
Chapter 11 ....May 7th..... Rita goes home with Emileigh...... Rita has had a lovely weekend with Emi, She helped Emis mommy make birthday pyjamas. Rita had lots and lots of stories, hot chocolates and biscuits!!! Rita slept in the top bunk with Emi snuggled up. She celebrated Emis birthday with her on the bouncy castle, in the pool and having her nails painted. Rita has had a wonderful time helping Emileigh and her family make special memories, Emileigh and her sister Scarhlet have had the best time celebrating with Rita their special visitor. Rita even got to have a ride on a bus because Emi said she needed to!
