Reception have been to visit Oak Tree Farm. We went to check up on our chicks and to see how much they had grown! We loved looking at all the other animals too!
Reception have loved looking after the eggs from Oak Tree Farm in Aldridge. We have looked after the eggs till the hatched and then cared for 6 lovely chicks. The children chose some interesting names Flash, Belle, Rosie, Lucifer, Johnathan and Evan! The chicks have now been returned to the farm for you to visit if you like. They have been banded with red bands so that you can spot them!

Reception have been learning about fairies and went to visit the Fairy Trial at the garden center! Look what we found!
Parents Day: Thank you to all the parents that came to spend time with their child and see some of the wonderful things that they get up to.
Reception have been reading Jack and the beanstalk. We have planted our own bean seed. We have been watching them grow and noticing the changes and differences between each others plants.
'Whatever next!' is the story we are reading in Reception. We had a go at making our own picnic just like baby bear in the story. We had lots of fun making our own sandwiches! Well done Reception!
