  • Netball competition

    Congratulations  to our netball team who played well tonight and managed to qualify for the Walsall finals.later in the month. Of the 10 halves played they only lost 1.   Well done as for most of the squad it was their first ever games. 
  • Circus visit

    Great fun was had by all with a visit from a circus performer on Monday.  After a demonstration to the whole school, all classes had lessons to improve the hand eye coordination and balancing skills.
  • Fire from scratch

    We achieved a first today by starting the camp fire without any matched or flints. Just a bow drill and wood and a lot of hard work. 
  • Year 6 discover Motown

    A second night of greatest hits is getting them hooked.  Mrs Anderson knows every song!  

    Mrs Gledhill led the strange dancing last night.  Way before Mr Brazier’s time.

  • What a good Thursday

    A great day at camp children selected from cereals, sausage, bacon or omelette from mr and Mrs Stacey’s chickens.

    canoe went off for a great day on the river and canal while the other half made  wreaths to put on the war graves and created an item with the camp knives. For a first attempt they did really well under very close supervision. This group then went on a fantastic walk from the glacial boulder, through The Ancient Oak woodland and up Sherbrooke valley in lovely sunshine. 

  • Self cooked tea

    The children decided on their menus and then have cooked the meal for their group from scratch.  

    Looks and smells great and not much left.

  • First night

    All tents up in the dry. Everyone has cycled today.   Not much dr wood about for a fire but we are looking.  

    Evening BBQ went down well with everyone eating as much as they want.

    should be good weather from now on.  We even bumped into Allumwell School at the campsite but they are not staying overnight. think we have the entire site to ourselves.
