    On first day of camp  11 year 5 heroes broke the year Five distance record by walking all the way to camp even when they had the option of taking the bus. 

    Well done to all. 

  • Year 5 accept a challenge

    A group of year 5s have accepted the challenge of walking the whole way to camp (17km) rather than getting on the school minibus with the rest of the class.

    well done to all the children who now turn p week after week.

    continental breakfast to save washing up and breaking camp this morning. Not the best part of camping but everyone joining in with the bribe of a shop visit if it’s open. 
  • Final evening meal of camp

    Potatoe night tonight. First time pealing for some of them! 

    Boiled or mashed potato with peas and sweet corn Stewing steak or corned beef or quorn sausages for non meat eaters cake and custard for pudding. 

    Must be a good day as some children asking to go to bead early. 

    Children were a credit to themselves again today

    last leg of walk down to Birches Valleu.   We kep running into our mountain bike group as they meander around their route.Â
