Despite going the wrong way, the children managed to relocate on the map and plan a route back. A lot more use of maps and compass on the way back.  Children were starting to sort out the navigation Ds.  Direction, duration, description, distance and destination. 
All back at camp safely and a good lunch sets us up for this afternoon.
