Year 3
Around the world in a week
Year 3 looked at lots of different places around the world. The children visited Africa - with ‘real’ passports stamped and signed! They learned about tribal masks and painted their own wooden mask. The children enjoyed a fantastic African drumming session, learned about Kenyan tribal jewellery and made necklaces and bracelets. The next day, children learnt about North America including the Hoover Dam, NASA and National Parks. They then made masks to wear at their Brazillian carnival!
