  All 25 children dressed, washed and 3 course breakfast, washed up and dried before 8.00. No late mark for us today!

  children have 20 minutes to get teeth done and tents ready for inspection before starting morning activities.

• Peaceful site

  Camp at best this morning. Didn’t have to get up once in night, pitch black walk to shower and breakfast on my own with coffee by 6.00. 

  Dont think it will last as I can see lights on in tents. 

• All swapped over

  year 4 are all settled in and at time of writing, they are all in their tents asleep. Not bad by 10 as they were very lively this afternoon. A session of tree climbing and an exploration of the site followed by a good tea and a night bottle hint and then singing around the fire did the trick. 

  Hopefully a quiet evening although wind picking up which is sending smoke all over staff around the fire.

  All tents cleared so nothing left behind. 

  Children about to start archery session for morning. 

  Year 4 will be on their way soon. Shelter building in the woods before walking into camp to lunch with year 3 before year 3 make their way home in the afternoon to leave school at normal time.
