Look what we've been up to November 2018

We had a visit today from Snuffles Hedgehog Rescue. They talked to us about Hedgehogs, what they liked to eat and the best way to help keep them from danger. We also spoke about the way they felt and how they would curl themselves into a ball when scared! We even got to meet a Hedgehog! 🦔 Thankyou to all the parents that kindly donated food to the Hedgehog Rescue. 🦔

The children sat quiet and still as they watched the Hedgehog explore!

We baked cakes in nursery today to celebrate Logan’s birthday 🎈 🎂

We baked cakes in nursery today to celebrate Eleanor’s birthday! 🍰 🎉

We had some visitors come in to school today from the church. They spoke to us about the meaning of a christingle, a lighted candle symbolising Christ as the light of the world. We then got to make our own to take home!

We have been using different shapes to create our own pictures. We made, “faces, caterpillars, princesses, dinosaurs and our families”. 🦕 🐛 👑

We went on a bit of an adventure for Woodland Wednesday today, we to Chasewater on the mini bus. We had a fantastic morning, got to see the deer again, used lots of energy on the park, feeding the ducks and just having lots of fun with our friends.... For some of us it was just too much and a little nap was needed to help us recover. 🦆 🏃‍♂️ 🚌

Monday PM trip out on the minibus. We fed the ducks at a little pond in Pelsall, followed by a trip to the park. 🦆 🏃‍♀️

On a dull and gloomy afternoon the children decided they wanted to make “big pretty flowers” So that’s what we did! 💐 They certainly brightened up our afternoon 💐 .

Snail Race 🐌. We wound up our clockwork snails using our fine motor skills. Which snail would come first, second or third..... Ready, Steady, Go!!! 🐌

Thursday Am trip to Chasewater, we played on the park, explored the castle, fed the ducks 🦆 but sadly didn’t see the deer, oh well we’ll just have to go again!!
