Halloween Special 2018

We dressed up in our Halloween costumes today. How fab do we look! πŸ‘» πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ πŸ¦‡

Tilly brought in this brilliant pumpkin she had carved at home with her daddy, it’s a spider on his web πŸ•· How fab is it, Thankyou for bringing it in to show all your friends! πŸ•· πŸŽƒ

Today we flipped our pumpkins over and used our fine motor skills to hammer little coloured sticks into our pumpkins. πŸ”¨ πŸŽƒ

Halloween mark making πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ πŸŽƒ

We made spiders in the playdough today πŸ•· We used wobbly eyes and pipe cleaners for their legs. We tried our best to put 4 legs on one side and 4 the other making 8 legs altogether! πŸ•·

We helped wash all the bugs and spiders today in the warm soapy water! πŸ’¦ πŸ•· πŸ› πŸ¦‡

Eleanor’s daddy kindly carved us an amazing Woody and Jess pumpkin for nursery. Thankyou, we loved it 🀠 πŸŽƒ

Help, Meg’s lost Mog in the maze let’s help her find him!!

We used the tweezers to pick out the Halloween treats from our spiders web, πŸ•·

We put the pieces together to make Meg! πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ

We stretched elastic bands over our small pumpkins (munchkins) this was a really tricky for us but we kept trying, this was a really good activity to help improve our fine motor skills! πŸŽƒ

We made spiders just like the spider in our story Meg and Mog. We tried very hard to make sure we put 8 legs on our spiders! πŸ•· πŸ•·

We painted pictures of pumpkins. πŸŽƒ

After listening to the story Meg and Mog, we made our own spells. πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ

We made our very own playdough pumpkins! πŸŽƒ πŸ¦‡

We explored the textures of pumpinks by scooping out the inside! We scooped out the seeds and put them in our pots! πŸŽƒ β€œit smells nice like strawberries and feels sticky”
