  • The children have had fun playing parachute games and dancing in the hall

WE MADE FOSSILS!

On a rainy Friday afternoon, we decided to add a little bit of fun to our day. Year two watched Miss Attenborough make a fossil by following a set of instructions then had a go themselves. They used the dinosaurs that they excavated and made a imprint into the dough. Everyone worked so well together and enjoyed playing with the dough. We hope to show these off in our year 2 museum in a few weeks!

DINOSAURS!!!!!

On Friday 4th October Year 1 and 2 went exploring for dinosaurs and made some incredible discoveries!

Samples of dinosaur skin we found by a cliff top.

We found bones, skin, dinosaur eggs and even dung from herbivores, omnivores and carnivores!!

After being chased by Velociraptors and hiding in a shed, the children discovered a T-Rex skull in the ground and worked with Mrs. Dolman to excavate it.
