Halloween Special 2019

We came to nursery dressed in our Halloween costumes to celebrate Halloween! We enjoyed looking at each others costumes and talking about who we were. Everyone looked amazing! 🧙‍♀️ 🎃 🕷 👻

We celebrated the last day of half term with a little party. We played some party games, danced to spooky Halloween music and eat cake. 🍰 🎈 💃 🧙‍♀️

We made Witch pictures using different sized triangles, just like the Witch in our story Meg and Mog! 🧙‍♀️

Halloween mark making! 🎃

Halloween fine motor activity- the challenge was to stretch the different sized elastic bands over our little munchkins. We did find it tricky but we kept at it until we mastered our challenge! 🎃

We made our own potions using gooey jelly slime, and lots of different creepy crawlies. We chanted the spell from the story Meg and Mog. Frog in a bog, bat in a hat, snap crackle pop and fancy that!! BOOOOOOOOOOOM! 🐁 🐁

We explored the texture and smell of a Pumkin! 🎃
