Pancake Day - We made pancakes in nursery today. We mixed together the ingredients, flour, eggs and milk. Once cooked we got to choose our pancake topping. We really enjoyed making them, but enjoyed eating them even more! 🥞

Jack and the Beanstalk mark making ✏️ ✍️

We made large golden eggs like the ones Jack took from the Giant in our story Jack and the Beanstalk 🍃 🥚

The sun was shining, the minibus was free... so we decided to go on a last minute trip to Little Aston Park. What a lovely fun afternoon it was! We arrived back at school at the end of the day with a few worn out children. 🚌 🏃‍♀️

Jack and the Beanstalk - today we made Jack using different shapes and resources! We then put Jack climbing up the Beanstalk we had all helped make. 🍃

Jack and the Beanstalk fine motor/pattern activity - The challenge was to make their Beanstalk reach right up to the top! 🍃

Jack and the Beanstalk - in nursery today we planted our own Beanstalks. We Can’t wait for them to sprout! We are hoping our Beanstalks grow as tall as the one in our story, right up to our magical castles ⛅️

Water fun using tubes, sieves, jugs, funnels, pom-poms bells and grabbers! 💦

When we arrived in nursery today we spotted some Giant legs! We think they belong to the giant from the story we have been enjoying, Jack and the Beanstalk! We decided it would be a good idea to make our own beanstalk for the giant! 🍃 🍃

We had lots of fun getting dressed up in nursery today. We went to “work at the office, to get married, we went to the party, to the show, and to the pub for food” I wonder where our dressing up will take us tomorrow? 🎩 🎤 👗 👠

Sand fun - we added shells, sticks, rocks and tubes to see what the children would create in the sand. 🐚

Mark making/rubbing using different types of material, pencils, chalks and crayons! ✏️

Fine motor activity. ✍️

We made our styling head look beautiful. We used our fine motor skills to put bobbles, clips, pins and headbands into her hair! 😊
