Halloween

We have looked at many spooky stories such as... Funny bones, Room on the Broom and We're Going on a Ghost Hunt.

We have enjoyed making witches, pumpkins, playing eye spy, finding the initial sound in spooky pictures, creating Halloween cones and art work.

It was great to end our Spooky project with the Halloween Disco!

Autumn

We have been learning all about season change. We have been on autumn walks and spotted some brilliant signs of autumn.

We have read The Leaf Thief and The Leaf Man. We went on a hunt to find our own Leaf man and found all sorts of Leaf animals and people!

All about me!

This week we wanted to get to know the chidlren even better! We read the book The Big Book of Families.

We talked about our families, holidays, houses, favourite food, pets, favourite colours and so much more.

We have drawn self-portraits, family photos and created a poster about Marvelous Me!

Pirate Week

This week we have been reading the stories: Pirates love underpants and 10 Little Pirates.

We have made treasure maps, pirate hats and made pictures of parrots and treasure.

The children have adjusted well to being in full time and starting more structured learning.

Autumn 1 Week 1

🌟What a lovely first day!🌟

Everyone was full of smiles and we had no tears at all!🤩

It was such a lovely day, we read “the colour monster” and talked about our feelings, we created our own monsters and we had so much fun inside and out too!☀️

🌟Can’t wait for another fabulous day tomorrow. 🌟

‼️Quick reminders:
If your child uses an inhaler we need a spare in school.
We need a set of labelled spare clothes for their drawers.
If you haven’t returned your Information pack yet please get that to us asap.
If your child has alternative milk due to a dairy intolerance please remember to drop that into us for snack times. 🥛
