Survived the night 2
Wed 24 Oct 2018All children fit and healthy. Only 1 dose of calpol and she is bright and bubbly with rosey red cheeks this morning.
Sleepingbags out airing for yer 4 this afternoon and children ready for breakfast.
Cereals and eggy bread.

Damp evening
Tue 23 Oct 2018After a day of activities, a wet drizzle set in for a few hours over tea. We still managed to get the fire going with music. All kids settled down for last evening. Some wet over tired so hopefully they will lie in on the morning.
Staff have moved the shelter to the edge of the fire so that we can keep dry and warm.
It has been a pleasure to see the strong relationship between the children and their class teacher.

Tue 23 Oct 2018As no sweets are allowed in tents due to the squirrels, the children combined all their sweets and shared them out in free time.
Children took on the challenge of getting through the rope web without touching anything.
A nature colour match game was played to get them to look at the colours of autumn

Off the ground challenge
Tue 23 Oct 2018Teaching children to climb trees and more importantly, to get down safely.
Good old risk assessment for children. They came up with good ideas including thickness of branches, height of climb and softness of ground to fall onto.
